In short. No ads, no trackers, nothing is sold. You can erase everything from the app.
What we collect, and why

Nothing else: not your contacts, not your photos, not your iPhone’s advertising identifier.
Your starting point
You type an address, or tap “Use my location”: the app reads your location once, at that moment, never in the background. For road distances, its coordinates go through a route-planning service, without your name or email. Members of your family group never see it.
Who else handles it
Only the services the app can’t work without: our host; our email service; a route-planning service; your iPhone’s address search and map. Some are located outside Quebec. They receive only what’s needed and don’t use it for their own purposes.
How long
As long as your account exists. If you delete it (Settings → My account → Delete account), everything is erased right away, except a family group’s list, which stays with the other members. Without an account, write to us and we’ll erase your data.
Your rights
You can ask to access your information, correct it, get a copy, erase it, or withdraw your consent. Write to us: we reply within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

The person in charge of the protection of personal information is the founder of Mon Épicerie: bonjour@monepicerie.app. The French version is the reference version.
Security. Traffic is encrypted and each person can only access their own data and their family group’s. If an incident occurs, we’ll let you know. Children. The app isn’t meant for children under 14. This website. No cookies, no analytics. Changes. We’ll tell you in the app before any significant change.
